Cost Structure:
Present Cost Structure for members joining up to end of Feb'08
R750.00 Joining fee
R750.00 Annual fee + R50.00 per room/unit

To provide services of excellent standard and quality to all tourists regardless of race, gender, religion or place
of origin.
To do all practically possible to ensure safety and security of tourists who utilize our services or patronise our
premises.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (Full Membership)
1.) All members and prospective members must comply with “Section A” of the members legal requirements to
be members of ICAA from 1 March 2007. (Proof of Ethekwini Business License application/payment,
Membership of Durban Africa & Tourism KZN plus proof of public liability insurance.)
2.) All members must be graded in by TGCSA by no later than August 2007 to retain membership of ICAA

PROCEDURE

Step 1:
Join ICAA (request membership pack) Membership pack to be delivered by inspection committee & brief
inspection to be made.
Once completed forms have been received together with payment, the Membership Sec. to forward proof of
payment to the Treasurer and to notify Secretary by e-mail of paid-up member.
Step 2:
Join NAA (members to send their completed forms together with NAA subs direct to NAA -
Step 3:
Join Durban Africa (free)
Step 4:
Join KZN Tourism (R150.00 p.a.)
Step 5:
Take out B&B Insurance with Public Liability cover (SA Eagle B&B Sure - Afscot - Lynn Easton tel. 5629983)
Step 6:
Register with Ethekwini Municipality and apply for a licence for the sale or supply of meals, perishable foodstuffs
and alcohol.
Step 7:
Comply with accommodation establishment bylaws - local fire regulations, local health & safety regulations,
adhere to all municipal bylaws including electricity ruling, water and rates.
